On the Olympic Pantheon of Washington, Lincoln Memorial is one of the most imposing monuments. On its steps took place the protests against American participation in the Viet Nam war. It's impossible not to be reminded of Forest Gump when one goes down the stairs where Martin Luther King Jr. spoke about his dream of equality among all races. On the gardens of the Viet Nam Memorial, a sculpture honors the three races that fought on Southeast Asia: Caucasians, Hispanics and Afro-Americans.
